We start by asking about your comfort. Prefer breaks? Just raise your hand. Kids can watch Netflix on the ceiling screen. For sensitive spots we use a topical numbing gel.
Comprehensive exam
We check teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues. Pocket measurements and plaque scoring help us personalise your plan. Digital photos from our intraoral camera let you see what we see.
Low-radiation x-rays if needed
Only when clinically useful — explained in plain language. Results are instant and shown chairside.
Ultrasonic scale & gentle polish
Removes tartar and stains with a fine ultrasonic tip. We go at your pace. Breaks anytime. For extra sensitivity we use numbing gel.
Fluoride (optional)
Extra protection against sensitivity and decay. Safe for adults, kids, and during pregnancy.
Personal plan & next visit
We summarise with photos and tips you can use at home. Most patients do well at 6-monthly cleans. If gums bleed or tartar builds quickly, we’ll recommend 3–4 months. After deeper cleans, expect 1–2 days of mild tenderness — a warm salt-water rinse helps. We’ll also set reminders and check in if needed.

Later questioned why I was originally charged the same amount as what was quoted when the extraction ended up being non-surgical (no incision or stitches) and took less than 5 minutes. Was told that the original quote was for a surgical extraction without the cost of the oral exam meaning that if it turned out I needed a surgical extraction, I would have had to pay an additional $190 on top for the oral exam (totalling ~$900). This was not explained to me when I was given the quote.
I’ve been saving this money for new tires for my car as they’re due. Figured my health is more important. Total cost should have been discussed with me especially as Dr Majid knew that money is an important factor for me being a student

Dr Majid’s assistants are very friendly and have a caring manner - just what you need when a little nervous. Sometimes, Dr Majid’s wife acts as his assistant, who is also a dentist! So you get two dentists for the price of one! Easy Care Family Dental have recently moved to new premises, with state of the art equipment. Now further for me to travel, but I consider that irrelevant when considering the treatment which I receive. Definitely recommended.
