Your examination looks at your teeth, gums and mouth. X-rays are taken if clinically needed, and your dentist explains whether the included professional clean is appropriate for your gums.
A different type of cleaning or extra treatment is discussed and priced before proceeding.

Leave with a plan you understand.
We talk through the findings, treatment options and follow-up. Ask what is recommended, why it matters and what it will cost, so you can decide on the next step.

Before you come in
Have your medical history and current medicines handy, along with any questions you want to ask. If you have recent dental records or X-rays, ask us how to arrange access to them.
What if I have pain or swelling now?
Call 07 3523 3333 and describe your symptoms rather than waiting for a routine first-visit package. Our team can advise on urgent appointment availability.

Can I claim through my health fund?
EasyCare has HICAPS for eligible on-the-spot claims. Your rebate depends on your cover and fund rules. Ask our team about the likely out-of-pocket cost; the $300 fee does not itself mean no-gap treatment.
How long should I allow?
Please check the appointment length when you book, especially if you have several concerns or need extra support.
Does every new patient need X-rays?
No. The package includes dental X-rays if clinically needed. Tell your dentist if you have had recent imaging, so they can consider it when deciding what is appropriate.
What if I need more than a regular clean?
The included professional clean must be appropriate for your gums. If different gum care or other treatment is needed, we explain the reason and any additional fees before proceeding.
