Meet the team caring for your child.

Understand your options
Care as your child grows.
A child’s appointment is not only about finding cavities. It also considers confidence, prevention and the change from baby teeth to adult teeth.
Prevention for their risk
Check-ups, gentle cleaning, fluoride or fissure sealants may be recommended according to age and decay risk. Suitable baby or adult teeth can be restored with tooth-coloured fillings.
Development and bite
We review spacing, crowding, bite changes and the transition to adult teeth. Digital X-rays are used when clinically required, not automatically at every visit.
A visit they can manage
Share sensory preferences, communication needs and previous experiences before the appointment. Simple explanations, show-and-tell and shorter confidence visits can help us plan a suitable approach.

Questions parents ask.
Practical details to help you choose your next step.
When should my child first see a dentist?
A first visit is generally recommended when the first tooth appears or by around 12 months. Early visits are usually simple and help establish familiarity.
Can I stay beside my child?
Yes. Parents are welcome chairside throughout the visit.
What if my child is very anxious?
Tell us before the appointment. We can use a gentle pace, show-and-tell and, when appropriate, short confidence-building visits.
Can you help prepare an autistic child?
Tell us what helps your child feel comfortable, including sensory preferences and communication needs. Our dedicated guide provides more preparation ideas.
What dental care might my child need?
Depending on the examination and risk, care may include check-ups, cleaning, fluoride, fissure sealants or suitable fillings. We explain the reason before treatment.
Are X-rays needed at every visit?
No. Digital X-rays are used when clinically required. We explain the reason and discuss the findings with parents.
